Corner Stop Automotive, LLC is the culmination of a young couple's prayers to own their own business and live the "American Dream" now coming true. Kevin and Heather Curtin were given the opportunity by a close friend named Wade Rose, owner of "Finish Line Automotive, LLC" and "200 Lennox Ave LLC."
Finish Line Automotive is the business located at 200 Lenox Ave, Oneida, NY that opened its doors as a used vehicle sales lot and Pennzoil Fast Lube service center in January of 2005. Over the past 2 years Finish Line has sold over 600 vehicles throughout New York state. to customers as far away as Watertown, Binghamton, and Rochester.
Mr Rose was extremely successful in the restoration of the building at 200 Lenox Ave, and the creation of a prosperous dealership in Finish Line Automotive.
Kevin and Heather have plans to continue to sell used SUVs and trucks but to also add cars of all shapes and sizes, and mini-vans to the inventory. They are also adding service and vehicle diagnostics to their long list of shop capabilities. They have brought in an Aftermarket Extended Warranty Company for the vehicles they will sell. Soon they hope to have some financing options for people who need a car but can't afford to pay for it without a loan.
Heather has spent the past year working with Wade Rose at Finish Line Auto and learning all aspects of the business. She handles cleaning and preparation of the vehicles, scheduling of shop service, billing, and sales of vehicles. Heather also handles the hassle of getting plates for the vehicles they sell. She is the girl with the pretty face and the beautiful smile who is always happy and willing to help a customer.
Kevin has spent the last 3 and one half years working as a salesman for Utica Peterbilt, a large truck dealership in Utica, NY. While there, he had the privilege to learn customer service and how to sell from the Donnenwirth family, a highly respected and successful group of men that have made a living out of making people happy and selling the highest quality new and used trucks in the industry.
Prior to that, Kevin sold new and used cars at 2 different Ford dealerships. He sold farm equipment for 2 different Case / International dealerships, and he worked and grew up on his family's large dairy farm. He attended SUNY Morrisville's Automotive Technology program from 1996 through 1998.
